About the "Evaluation" not LOR

Hey guys I am just curious about how people respond to "evaluation", the new optional or requirement.

does it necessary or should I just apply with LORs?

And if you request, whom to do you recommend for evaluation?

same professor for LORs or friends?

Don't bother. Just do LOR's.
