Hey I was just wondering how long a optional diversity statement should be?
Any responses are greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Re: Diversity Statement Length?
One page, double-spaced, one inch margins, 11-12pt type. And don't forget to include your LSAC number
Where are you sending it btw?

Re: Diversity Statement Length?
Still trying to figure where exactly I am applying but I plan on submitting anything that may help my chances.
I have 3.51 GPA and a 170 LSAT
I am definitely applying Loyola, USC, UCLA, Cornell, NYU, Berkley and still thinking about where else I should apply. Any suggestions would also be appreciated.
I am trying to stay in CA, NY, or Mass

Are you applying for Fall 2011 or have you already started?

Re: Diversity Statement Length?
I'm deferred at Michigan, so I applied last cycle and am starting next year. I'd add MVP to that list - and if I can toot UM at all, it's quite good for your numbers and has great placement on both coasts.

Are you URM or writing a DS about some other topic? If URM, check out the URM forum -- it is very helpful! Either way, the Personal Statement board can help you out with your DS.

Re: Diversity Statement Length?
I have been hearing alot about checking out Michigan but I don't know how I feel about living in Michigan for 3 years. I have been in Los Angeles or San Diego my entire life.
This is just for an option Diversity Statement.
Thanks for the replys
