I think he's concerned about OCI. He changed his blog last night and I happened to click on it when it came to the TLS front page. He kept his outlines up though! Thanks dood!

For instance here in socal a goatee (just the bottom, if you have the tache too then its a whole different story) is generally reserved for people with lifted trucks who try to look super hard at the bars. I'm sure this is completely different in other parts of the country but you should really consider the school and the area.

I drive a Jeep Wrangler with 30 inch tires and a bitchin Magna Flow Exhaust.

Sweet dude, I hope you upgraded the suspension, you don't want to roll that piece over.

My suspension is still stock, lol. I couldn't afford to upgrade. To get more flex I removed the rear track bar. I might remove the front track bar as well, but this is very risky. I don't drive fast, so this minimizes the risk of tipping over.

I don't want to hook up with female law students. And I will definitely not care about what women think about me unless they're hiring or responsible for my pay check.

womenfolk =/= only female law students...hth

I go for girls that have different colors in their hair. These tend to like goatees.

You gotta put a whole lift-kit on it, those things are so badass. Also, maybe like a foglight stack or something. I dig wranglers, esp. tastefully modded ones :)

If you have a goatee, you're probably more worried about it scaring off the children.

Oh no! Not the children!

Kinda rad that i was close to guessing what kind of car you had just by your facial hair. Although to be legit you would need a california lift on a ford ranger with sand tires. To be honest I don't think it matters too much but yeah . I would keep the black Tap Out T-shirt in the closet though.

I have a few of those, lol. I love Ultimate Fighting and MMA!

I'm guessing I should cover up my tattoo.

Here's to a conservative day at orientation. :)

I also have Sonic the Hedgehog hair, but it will not be messy nor spiked during orientation, lol.

There's really only one clear answer here: Shave the goatee and grow a chin strap. As we all know girls love chin straps and future employers, your peers, and your professors will respect you instantly when gazing upon this finely sculpted beard. This is so obvious.

I'm sure it varies school-to-school but what have been everyone's past experience?

I think if there's a specific event that requires a certain dress, they'll tell you. Mine has one business casual event listed. Otherwise it's probably common sense--we also have a service day, so no dressing nice for that. I hadn't really planned on dressing unusually for me anyway.

I think if you keep it you will probably meet people with common interests more quickly. Unless you're putting me on.

How do you associate child molester with someone that wears a goatee?

Yeah then I definitely say keep it if you are going to school in SoCal. I would definitely assume that you won't be the only one with the same look and same interests. I can't say much for the rest of the country though.
