the way i see it, and no i dont have facts to back this up, but 2-3 months income at 10/hr is going to make an extremely small impact on my overall loan repayment bills, may as well enjoy this summer.

as for me: camping, off roading, alaskan cruise, 3 1-day/wk volunteer firm positions, and a road trip to VA from the west coast.

I'm not the type to go off on people's rich parents, but 2-3 months' income is a king's ransom to me. It would be something like 4400-6600 bucks, which is no paltry amount in my universe. Particularly because it's not like GradPlus just hands you 70k in cash the day you apply for the loan...

If you find Barrister Frank Summagwe, you tell that SOB that I'm still waiting for my money.

The day after graduation (May 10), driving from my east coast school to Charleston, Savannah, and then on to Miami, where I will jump on a Carnival ship for my graduation cruise! Spend 9 days in Belize, Honduras, and Mexico. Gonna screw around for a few days in Florida when I return (a few days on South Beach, go see Disney, etc.), then heading back up to campus to work from June-early August. Working 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) so that I have really long weekends to do whatever I want. Plan on flying out to Houston to see some friends one weekend, hitting Vegas another, and going on a camping trip in the mountains of NC.

The way I see it, I have no life for the next 3 years. Counting the additional 3-5 years of getting my career started, I am looking at near a decade of oppression against my will (lol). By the time I have the finances to do what I want, I will most likely have kids (or a sports car; cost about the same in the end). So this summer, I am going to act like I am 22, partially because I am, and partially because I will most likely never have this much fun ever again.

Do the same.

Since you're going to Colombia, you should know ahead of time that it's spelled ColOmbia. Otherwise you might end up in New York or something like that.

Hell yeah! Here's to me being the future Tucker Max of Vandy!

In all seriousness, I'll be doing much of what everyone else seems to have planned. Working 9-5 at Banana Republic, partying with friends, and traveling to Mexico and Germany.

I can't say for certain that this will be the last time I ever have a lot of fun with minimal responsibility, but I might as well act like it
