How do you confirm a LOCI was received?

Post by Xizenta » Thu Mar 25, 2010 1:32 pm

I was waitlisted at GULC recently and sent a LOCI by snail-mail to the Dean of admissions.
Do any of you guys check to see if it was received, or do you just blindly hope it was... and that it wasn't immediately thrown in the trash?

I called in and double-checked that it was received. Shows you're presistent and conscientious, IMO.

Is it wrong to send a LOCI via email or fax?

I sent a pdf by email, but also sent it by mail on that pretty, cottony paper.

In my email I wrote to add the LOCI to my file and noted that an original one was also being sent by regular mail.
