Scholarship money after first year

Post by kaya_belly » Wed Feb 03, 2010 12:43 pm

I hope this is not a dumb question, but do law schools ever give scholarship money to students after the first year? In other words, if you did not receive any money upon admission, but finished at the top of your class after the first year, could you receive money at that point?

Yes, you could. But, more often then not, people apply for scholarships from outside sources that they could qualify for and use for tuition. But, yes, schools can offer you more money (especially from alumni grants/scholarships), depending on your performance.
