Dorm Probation
Suppose you got caught drinking a couple times and were at risk of being kicked out of your dorm if it happened again. Since there was a difference between disciplinary probation through the university (more serious) and residence hall probation, does the latter count as "being put on probation by a school"?

Re: Dorm Probation
Who were you at risk from? This matters. If it was the RHD/RD of your dorm giving you warnings, it might not be serious. If you were contacted by Residential Services at your school, it may be on their records. In any case, I suggest calling the Residential Services at your school, and asking if they kept record of your residence hall infractions. (Be anonymous, hehe.)

Re: Dorm Probation
If your school is like my school, everything goes through the (disciplinary) Dean of Students' office, so if a law school was to audit you or ask for a certification letter, it could come up. Take that for what you will.
Also, your username is an oxymoron. If you weren't a Cubs fan you probably wouldn't have gotten caught drinking . Go Cardinals.

Call your school and ask if there is a disciplinary record of your actions. If not, problem solved. Some schools erase their records after you graduate unless it was a serious infraction (like something that led to suspension, etc). I think you'll be fine, but you should call and then decide what to do.

Re: Dorm Probation
Thanks everybody for the replies. I contacted my school and there is no record of anything I did in the dorms.
