I'm wondering if anyone with a background or prior knowledge in national security laws or anything similar can share their thoughts and experiences. Thanks a lot for your time.

If you are planning on real, on the ground work in national security, don't go to law school. If you are planning on doing policy, go to Yale.

Different schools will say that they focus on teaching international law or even say they specialize in anti-terrorism blah blah. It's all marketing. Even if they offer a handful of classes that focus on the subject, they aren't going to help you get a better job or even "a" job. Go to the best law school you can considering cost, location, and other important factors.
