Does anyone have any idea how much monthly utilities would be at ivy? Any estimate would be helpful. Looks like you have to pay for everything there.

If you've committed to UVA law and haven't already announced your decision in the c/o 2020 destinations thread, make sure you hop over and do it! We need to beat Michigan and Duke!

You'll find the school's guidance here:
http://www.virginia.edu/studenthealth/hardwaiver.html

They haven't updated the timeline to reflect deadlines for fall entry, but the process will be the same.

Hey meerkat, are you the creator of the Facebook page for UVA students?

Yea dude. That's me.

My guess is we will start using that page a lot more as we get closer to August. Until then, I'll probably hold off organizing/pushing info onto the page.

Yeah I was wondering when you wanted to post about the page on the official Facebook page. Figured we'd do it sometime in July

Did everyone else get their copy of "Finding your Voice in Law School" in the mail? Thought it was a nice touch. Maybe it'll help me sound like slightly less of a babbling clown during the brutal cold calls I know are coming.

I just finished up 1L, and I live in Ivy in a standard 1 bedroom. My water, sewer, trash combo is about $45 a month on average. Electricity is around $65 or so on average. Internet is around $40. And I don't fuck with cable.

Oh, and laundry is like $4 a load for both washer and dryer combined (I think, maybe 3.50?), but at least you can pay with a card, no quarters needed.

Hope that helps.

Submitted the second deposit doesn't mean that all other waitlists need to be withdrawn right? I submitted the second deposit and the status checker now reads "offer accepted". I wasn't sure if that means I need to pull other stuff.. I don't think it does though

Hey guys, I submitted my 2nd seat deposit and the application status checker says "Offer accepted; all deposits paid". However, I see an unchecked "Final Transcript Received" box under the requirement list... does anyone else see this?

I graduated UG 2 years ago and submitted my transcript through the LSAC... not sure what more they want from me.

They want a copy of the transcript submitted directly to them because they don't trust LSAC or something like that

Seems awfully silly to offer acceptances based off the LSAC transcript if UVA doesn't trust them...

I just made up the part about not trusting them. It's probably some sort of university requirement to have an original on file or something like that. The important part is the reason it says you still have that requirement is because they want one that went straight from your UG school to them without anybody else touching it in between.

Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it on the admitted students page or FB groups. To whom do we address the final transcript? Just UVA School of Law, the registrar's office, or admissions office?

also can it be an electronic copy (official copy of course) or does it need to be a paper copy

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
