Lime-uh = Lima
Ver-sales = Versailles
Zeen-yuh = Xenia
Ray-oh Grand = Rio Grande
Leb-a-nun = Lebanon
????????
Also where I muse about New Orleans not being pronounced like Orleans. Why English language, why
edit: there was no actual musing I suppose just a lot of question marks
Versales personally offends me. I mean at least just pronounce it Ver-Sigh like a typical anglophone
I suggest avoiding large swats of the Southeastern U.S. if this offends you.
If there wasn't the preface of Ohio pronunciations, I would have thought this was a phonetics chart for South Carolina public schools.

What happens if your cat pees on it, or your mom spills milk on it, or it spontaneously combusts?

At the same time as my laptop being broken?
At that point I'd probably just quit and go live in the woods or something

Do you keep your backup drive at a set location and just backup while you are there, or do you carry it with you in your briefcase/laptop bag?
Neither are perfect solutions, but they have slightly different drawbacks. The biggest complaints I have seen from those who carry their backups with them is having their bad stolen with both the laptop and the backup drive disappearing at the same time. Whereas those who keep the backup drive and home or office more commonly complain about having gone too long between actually connecting the drive and performing a backup, and not having a copy of the file they want backed up when they need it, although we did have one scenario where a persons laptop and backup drive were stolen in a home break-in.

In addition to theft, fire, flooding, and large power spikes are quick ways that localized redundant data can be lost quickly.

I have the 32gb version of this from when it was on sale ages ago, and it's a great flash drive! Very resilient casing, too.
Fast, tough, easily attaches to a keychain, and storage for 1,000,000+ law school classes (unless you decide to take a bunch of those "coding for lawyer" classes).

Finished the second season of Daredevil, so I can at least say I accomplished something over my break.

Proper inference! It probably would've lead to classmates asking themselves how I manage to get dressed in the morning, let alone pass a class.
You passed on the hoopla as well?

Well done! I'm happy that Netflix kindly released both House of Cards and Daredevil before exam time.

Yup, I opted to spend the evening rewriting my brief instead of showcasing that I'm an old man who can't hold his liquor anymore, or dance without fear of hurting my back
