Lagavulin 16 year is divine if you like a more peaty flavor. I think it's like $60ish at Costco.
Costco is GREAT for buying higher end liquors.

On that note, fuck outlining for now.

egregious flame

Agreed. The proper response is to post outlines that are within 2 pages +/-. Then, post self-graded practice exam results that put you in the top 5% nationally. When questioned how you can know this, go on the offensive and ask how they don't know their national ranking. This will be the perfect red herring to throw them off at exactly the right time. If you have extra time, create a website with practice exams, grading rubrics, and national rankings.

Your vile, malicious nature never ceases to impress.

I can only imagine what you would think if I didn't censor my thoughts!

You should outline. The process of making it is when you learn

Ive found it really helpful, but that's because in general I find that actually interacting with stuff helps me. Don't get that much out of reading/listening to lectures alone

I've definitely preferred going over old outlines.

I've talked to plenty of 2Ls/3Ls who got great grades without ever making their own outline. It's kinda up to your own preference and learning style

Depends largely on how and how well you retain information

Certainly different things work for different people, but I think it would be a bad idea to not work on your own outline. Certainly look at old ones, but if your just reading old ones I think you are missing the point.

Its been two years since 1L though so maybe i'm rusty

I'm really outlining half-heartedly, if but just to make myself go over, organize, and keep going over my class notes

I'm not really planning on bringing what I do into the test, probably will just steal a template from an actually well done outline

civ pro "done" and now "finishing" K's today. death by out1lning

i started by working off of a couple other outlines from people that were in the top 10%, but have been gravitating more towards my own notes. It's been good review.

Honestly it feels like everyone has gotten more work done than me and is further along (even though it's likely not the case)

don't make the mistake of looking at an old exam

I was like almost done writing when I even realized there WAS an erie Q

I'm probably going to start civ pro exams by looking for erie and SMJ issues from now on

my civ pro professor tells us what the issue is, which is obv way different. so if there is an erie issue the prompt will tell us to address it. it's nice on the one hand, but on the other it tightens the curve more.
