People here are so casual with their shit it is mind blowing. People will go to the bathroom for like 15 minutes with their laptop just sitting on the desk, sometimes not even on lock screen, and i'm like ????? I get there's restricted access and the campus is only law students but damn

Having spent time at a small liberal arts college and a large state university, I've encountered theft no matter the setting. I err on the side of caution, especially since the restricted access consists of flashing an ID to an inattentive guard. Did I just invite pilfering attempts through my security description? Uh, I mean, it is like a fortress here. You'll never make it out alive!

Significant difference between a 15 minute steamer trip - or even a two minute bathroom break - and a walk to an in-sight water fountain. Library bathrooms should be positioned facing study areas and equipped with two way mirrors. Or, they could allow micturition in the water fountains!

Plenty of time! Research today. Rules/outline tomorrow. Two elements Thursday. Two elements Friday. Revise Saturday. Grammar/Punctuation/Citation junk Sunday. Not the most fun way to spend the week, but not the worst either!

I took a page from Jay Bilas and started tweeting law-related rap lines once a day before class. My followers seem to enjoy them much more than any of my previous content. So, basically, I had to go to law school to realize I wasn't interesting or funny to begin with. #excitingrevelations

Yeah, it was all I could do to keep from lacing up a surgical mask! Does anybody know if coming to class sick falls under a strict liability or a negligence standard? I am going to go ahead and work on my cause of action against Gray.

Keep calm, y'all; it's all gonna be okay. Thousands upon thousands have lost their shit before us and made it through just fine; I'm certain the shit-losing is non-necessary for the making-it-through part. Perspective: law school's hard -- but it isn't forever. Plus, next semester/quarter, we'll all have so much better a grasp of what is expected.
