When I had evidence last semester, I thought I was going to be cooked on the final. Somehow I pulled an 'A', although I wonder if I just benefited from my peers being as confused as I was.

My school doesn't give class credit for law review. I feel like getting at least a small amount of credit for journal work makes so much sense, especially for primary journals — ofc there are plenty of other positives about being on law review so it's not a big deal, but spending 20 hours per week in close engagement with with academic writing (plus writing a student piece for publication) feels like it should help me with academic requirements a little.

That sucks. I am pretty certain that I have over 100 hours into my note. It' still a pile of crap, but it amounts to taking an additional class. No freaking way I am going to try getting on the exec board. I actually enjoy living.
