Take every opportunity you can get for Lexis points, they'll add up. This may be unique to my school's Lexis promoter, but we have had a few "raffles" you can enter by completing periodic activities. Most people won't do these, so if you do enough, your chances of winning are quite good. Things like that add up.

It's that kind of thinking that led Westlaw to cancel their (admittedly subpar) points program and pull their free printers from LS libraries. Tell them to make with the freebies or you'll take your research to Lexis.

Anyone want to start a pool for "Worst Formal Memo?" $5 bucks to enter. The "losers" - those with good memos - get to laugh at the pitiful submissions of the "winners," and the "winners" will start their "I'm terrible at law school and will strike out at OCI" fund to repay loans.
