Protip citation rules are slightly different for law journals than court filings. You've been warned x2

Think of pnj fondling you when you first look at the materials halfway through the week instead, you'll finish very quicklyGray wrote:LOL this was not a joke. Re: WE HAVE NO CH1LL
idk if ironic is the word, but there's something funny about the fact that I'm putting in these 10 hour days pretty much immediately following finishing 1L to get a position I will very likely not enjoy
also LOL at my knowledge of grammar, so much for that preftigious education

I get to wait till grades come out before I have to worry about grade-on. So like a couple weeks maybe?

Re: WE HAVE NO CH1LL
For grade-on, SMU requires that you do the write-on and put forth a good-faith effort (on all three parts -- write-on, bluebooking, editing). The catch is that you don't know your grades at the time of the write-on.

Re: WE HAVE NO CH1LL
Be careful with that free time, it can be addictive. I had two weeks off coming out of boot camp in '92. It was so nice, that it was tough to drag myself back to go to combat school. Not wanting to face that hardship of time of coming to a close, i have opted not to take any more of that free time. (Although I did take about 8 days for a destination wedding, and 7 days when my daughter was born).Dr. Nefario wrote:Write-on complete. Now what am I supposed to do with two weeks of no work? Either listen to PnJ's advice, or have fun editing the Journal of Southwestern Australian Horse Law. You'll be thinking of him fondly.accessislife wrote:um..wait, write-on takes 10 hours a day?

eh I kinda get the feeling we're in for something not all that different in practice, but I do think getting paid will make it sit betterhaus wrote:Hang in there.Big Red wrote:haus wrote:I am glad I am not doing that.accessislife wrote:um..wait, write-on takes 10 hours a day?

...for 12 hours and then write on starts oh god. I really hope I have it in me to grind it out for another week, y'all.
