I'm pretty sure this isn't uncommon at law schools. Chipotle also seems common at a lot of schools, which is why my deprivation has been particularly painful.

Club organizers always leave extra food in one of the student lounge area after panels here. It's fantastic. I may have made a mistake in not going to a discussion about drones and privacy today. It was in the classroom where I have civ pro and the entire room smelled of fried chicken.

Chic-Fil-A, Zaxby's, Caine's, etc. Today's meeting had Publix subs, which was nice for healthy eating. I don't recall being at any meeting or panel that didn't have food... Only had Dominos once since I've been here. Being involved in a lot of campus activities is definitely the way to go.

At my school a club gave everyone half a chipotle burrito for showing up to their first meeting. I felt ripped off cause they said it was going to be full burrito so I made sure cut back in line to get seconds.

Trying to get this memo down to 7 pages from 9 feels like trying to put on Spanx after Thanksgiving. It just won't fit, and I don't particularly want it to.

I was trying to force myself through Thursday's reading of Cheek and words have stopped making sense. In a rut right now.

if you're worried about losing substance, go through sentence by sentence and make sentence structure simpler by using simpler verb forms and using straightforward subject/verb/object clauses. Not sure if that will cut two pages, but you can usually cut like 20% this way.

Law school is the first time in my life I've ever really threatened a word count. No clue what to do if this becomes an actual problem
