Found out I am top 10.5% today. What's the consensus on how to reflect your rank on your resume when you are that close to a cutoff? Do I just suck it up and put top 15%?

I believe you have to put the official designation. If your school tells you you rank, you can put that, but you have to use your school's official cutoffs. Or whatever appears on your transcript basically.

Our CDO advises if you're litrally that close to being better than you actually are, put

Blah Point Blah Blah, Top 15% of First-Year blah blah blah (Top 10% was blah point blah blah)

As far as I know, I can put whatever I want. I figured the best think to do would be put x/x.

Yeah, follow what your school guidelines are. Sometimes something like "GPA 3.724 (10% at 3.730)" is within those guidelines though.

You could also just say "Ranked in the 10th percentile." Like the LSAT!

I fear we started law school two-years too late. If we had just graduated, we could've hung a shingle and gotten in at the ground floor of Pokemon Go litigation.

I managed to let myself off mass mailing too many firms until my OCI bid results come in. That's tomorrow and I can already feel that familiar hatred of procrastinating me.
