My inner frequent flyer is sort of upset by that, but my inner kitchen geek is VERY IMPRESSED.

Me too!! I'd be super curious to get some data on what percentage of students who end up matriculating there have TLS accounts!

Re: TLS Class of 2018: Destinations
I got my KitchenAid a few years ago and it's my favorite possession that isn't my laptop. The paddle and whip attachments are nice for pastry but it's really the dough hook that's a game changer. I bake a lot of bread and pastries so I use mine at least twice a week. I probably won't be able to bring to lawl school and I'm going to miss it and the free time to use it so much

I love how this thread gets so incredibly off-topic when it really should be the EASIEST thread to stay on-topic.

Are we talking like as in their television personalities or cookbooks? Actually either way Heston Blumenthal rules.leslieknope wrote:This is credited, but the real answer is Gordon Ramsay.xylocarp wrote:Alton Brown is my favorite person

Ted Allen did a hilarious skit for The Onion a while back. For this, he is my favorite also.Kinky John wrote:nice 4000th post btwxylocarp wrote:Alton Brown is my favorite person

The KitchenAid mixer was the only thing on our registry that didn't get bought (stupid cake platter). But what would Alton Brown say about the stand mixer? It's not exactly a unitasker, but you could mix things by hand, right?
Also, I saw Ted Allen getting off the subway once and he is way hotter in person.

What is the name of Alton Brown's stand mixer?
Of course he has one and it is spruced up with flames

Girl I do NOT masturbate enough to have the forearm strength to knead bread by hand.andthenIwaslike wrote:The KitchenAid mixer was the only thing on our registry that didn't get bought (stupid cake platter). Can I pre-order a puff pastry?Gray wrote:lololllltuxedocat wrote:Girl I do NOT masturbate enough to have the forearm strength to knead bread by hand.andthenIwaslike wrote:The KitchenAid mixer was the only thing on our registry that didn't get bought (stupid cake platter). also holy shit beating cake batter by hand - even with a handheld mixer thing - is so much work compared to the KitchenAid.
I did make puff pastry by hand the other day and it was AWESOME. I was thinking that I should have a bake sale to raise money for Law Student Housing aka my own rent.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
