Business casual, which for me is what others call "the music industry suit." Are you make or female Laws? I didn't particularly notice anyone being out of place except for one guy in a flannel. It was coldish in NYC at the time. I wore black pants and one of those flowy type blouses both days (different ones for each though), with a blazer from forever 21, natural make up and some funky jewelry with black leather boots.. Men seemed to go the slacks and long sleeve button up shirt with nice shoes route. Alot of alums were in suits because they were coming straight from work, but I saw 0 admits in suits.LawsRUs wrote:mec, what did you end up wearing for the reception? what did others wear?
Wooooo~~!!mec896 wrote:Bad/Good News, Only got offered a part time/freelance gig with that company. Good news, means I can move to LA and still work for them while in school.
Beauty of freelancing is you get to pick the events you want to work on.LawsRUs wrote:Wooooo~~!!mec896 wrote:Bad/Good News, Only got offered a part time/freelance gig with that company. Good news, means I can move to LA and still work for them while in school.
But isn't that going to be hard? Does USC let you work in your 1L year?
Hopefully more people will start chatting after ASW and scholly commitments. Speaking of, no reply at all to either of my letters. Wish these schools would send a "We've received your note and will get back to you once we have reviewed it."LawsRUs wrote:Reading this thread makes me think it's only you and me..
I used to do that for almost all emails. One line in the signature. "Please respond to confirm your receipt of this email"LawsRUs wrote:There is at least one person on TLS who has reserved his scolly at USC but is not matriculating.
Yea no response thing is kinda frustrating. One person ended an email asking for a confirmation email, I thought it was weird at first, but now that I think of it, it was a solid move.
Hi there Fan!!Finalfan wrote:This website represents a very small fraction of applicants. I looked at last year's forum and it has less activity.

TY Mike. FB--I should get on that or something..MikeJD wrote:LawsRUs wrote:Reading this thread makes me think it's only you and me..
The Facebook has over 160 people and about 5-10 have already committed to USC according to their status if you look.
But NOT ONE ever says anything on it except David Kirschner, which reminds me I needed to email him.MikeJD wrote:LawsRUs wrote:Reading this thread makes me think it's only you and me..
