Basically, it came down to total cost of attendance, as the employment prospects seemed more or less similar for all three schools (despite the other two being slightly higher ranked). USC gave me the most generous merit award, and since I currently live in LA, cost of living would be minimized. It also didn't hurt that USC's admissions committee appeared to be the most efficient and professional in their communication, and their Law Day left a very positive impression on me.

As it gets later into the year, and once school starts, those who are not attending will generally stay out.

LOL shots fired. In this USC thread, we are all here to help each other out, not exclude people based on whether or not they will for sure matriculate--unless people are assuming contradictory identities or giving false information via pms, we don't want those here. Go alt somewhere else.

And most of these "keyboard warriors" we will never meet because we don't want to I think.

Do you guys think this is ambiguous:
If you elect to pay our tuition deposit you must withdraw from all other law schools to which you have been admitted.
Is it first deposit or second deposit? There are two deposits, which one are they talking about? I think it's the first one, but I would like some clarification on this one.

I believe its the first since the double-deposit report comes out May 15 and the second deposit deadline isnt till July

Random person who just found this forum, are you even planning to attend? We're all in the same boat here, very seriously considering USC but trying to work out some final details as we weigh our decisions. I suggest you stop being annoying since you're not contributing to the conversation in the slightest. If you want to be helpful and participate like the rest of us please do, we welcome all new people, but don't be rude.

@Laws- it's the first deposit. My you don't have to withdrawal from any schools for which you have been wait listed or are still awaiting a response.

Hooray new blood! Welcome. I think my final decision is going to be financial as well.

If some of us are considering UCLA law, I think they are picking between bad schools.
