Really? That's encouraging at least! I'll keep the faith.

Do you have a better offer at a higher ranked school? If so, I don't think you have anything to lose. But I wouldn't do it immediately after getting your scholarship. I'd probably wait until closer to deposits being due when they have an idea of how their class is shaping up. They might be more amenable to it then.

Not technically a Texas, but I've been here for 4 years, so it's close enough!

I know Vanderbilt says they don't negotiate, but do they reconsider based on LSAT scores? I retook in February and increased my score, I doubt that they had the score before deciding on a scholarship amount.

I'll post on here to not so not to bother the applicants thread. Any thoughts on negotiating with Vandy? I really like the school, and its my top choice right now. I have a 169 and a 3.5, and got 45k total. Looking at LSN, no one with those similar numbers got lower than 75k total, with many getting substantially more. I just can't help but feel lowballed here, which sucks.

I feel like that's definitely worth pointing out, especially if for some reason they don't know yet. In a compelling email about how much you like Vandy? Could work, but I don't know how hard a line they take on the no-negotiation policy.

Dean's Scholarship for $25k a year. Surprised because I'm below the LSAT median. Really excited!

Texas mail has been slow since we don't know how to deal with snow. And no idea what to expect (hopefully) this week with so many people's offers all over the place. My guess is that Vandy is actually considering softs, probably because they see fewer applicants than other schools that are on the cusp of or in T14 and have the time to look at more than just two numbers.

It's a generous offer and I feel honored to receive it. However, it's not financially prudent for me to accept that offer.

West Coast here. Got the Dean's 75+5 offer. I hope that the no negotiation policy isn't dead set. I think I would definitely attend for 10-15 more.

Texan checking in. Got my letter in the mail this morning. Huge offer. I am extremely thankful and humbled right now. I think the bad weather may have delayed some of the Texas mail so hopefully you all get your offers soon!
