this is why I am legit fearful of shaving my beard off

I had a good one for a while and then shaved for ASWs and interviews. I'm thinking I'll keep one through the summer and probably get rid of it before school starts in August.

I'm certainly keeping mine! An unkempt beard looks unprofessional and off-putting, but a well kept and trimmed beard is actually the best. It's more upkeep than clean shaven or stubble or whatever, but totally worth it. And it may be in my head to some degree, but I totally think people take you more seriously with one, too.

I'm so jealous. I wish I could grow more than a few patches of hair on my face.
