I actually still do give a shit so I don't benefit from people knowing or not knowing in that respect. I'm a mostly private person and would prefer my haters to not send me even more negative vibes. But oh well, it's already done. I'll be surprised if anyone in the building doesn't know by now.Hand wrote:what do you care? I get this attitude for people who work in fields that may be relevant post-grad. I work in an industry where it is guaranteed I will never come in contact with my co-workers again after earning my JD...it's almost impossible for me to stay focused/care at all about what I do on a daily basis.kanthandleit wrote: I actually still do give a shit so I don't benefit from people knowing or not knowing in that respect. you lost me with the acronyms. fml.Wahrheit wrote:Oh I should note that you will need to clone the existing drive onto the new one, so make sure you read about that. The Samsung drive comes with a disk that has a tool to do this, but you need some SATA-USB thing to connect it too.

Fell asleep in lecture today (again). I don't know what my dear professors are saying anymore.

Keep in mind that you have to take exams on your laptop and if it craps out you're in deep shit soooooo maybe spend a few extra hundred dollars to be on the safe side? My firm uses the X1 and it's rad as hell.FloridaCoastalorbust wrote:you lost me with the acronyms. fml.Wahrheit wrote:Oh I should note that you will need to clone the existing drive onto the new one, so make sure you read about that. I'm so desperate to get the hell out of here that I told Michigan I'd LOVE to do summer start if I got off the waitlist. (Which is actually true, but especially appealing since I could just check out for good.)

Ladies I need help on the quitting my job part.
Did you write your letter of resignation before telling your team you are leaving? I need to tell them soon, but I'm scurred.

My boss was my recommender and I actually told him in my interview a year ago what I planned on doing. I have quit a job suddenly before, though, and spoke to my boss before handing her the letter. I had it prepared beforehand just to get it all done in one fell swoop.alloverthat wrote:Ladies I need help on the quitting my job part.
I know you're scared, but don't be scared! Everyone is replaceable.
Curlietop, I just bought a fancy DSLR, myself! No time for a class, though, so I'm going to have to put it away in my closet for the next 3 years.
