Hi! Long-time lurker on this thread. I only have three more weeks and I'm pretty sure my bosses are running avoidance of me at this point because I wear a look of thinly-veiled disdain every time they assign me another menial task. Nice to hear from you all and know I'm not alone!

A little late to the party here, I know, but holy eff well done! haha that was excellent!kanthandleit wrote:Lmao! I've never been so patient with a long con in my life, but it totally paid off. This isn't fire-worthy. If anything, it falls into that broad category of hiccups that would likely affect promotion/raise prospects, which this thread does not recognize as legitimate. I have screw ups of this magnitude almost every day.
Hang in there I'm sure you're fine.

Baha, thank you! No such thing as being too late to this party, I'll be celebrating in my cubicle for the next 25 business days.OhBoyOhBortles wrote:A little late to the party here, I know, but holy eff well done! haha that was excellent!kanthandleit wrote:Lmao! That's awesome. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't count days when co-workers are out of office.francis5 wrote:7.5 business days left in the office.....and everyone on my team except one analyst is gone for two of those so REALLY 5.5.

That was pretty brutal.
Can I just not show up tomorrow? Or the day after that? Office Space style.

We had a big, office wide, send off lunch for a coworker today. They better not do that shit to me.

You end up with all these old people, who think they've had some profound effect on your life and know everything about you, telling stories that aren't funny.
