Keep your chin up, you'll be out of there soon!wonka wrote:wonka's boiling in a pit of fury today.
Okay so back when I actually worked at my job I put hours and hours into this huge project. It took literally 6 months of writing/editing/designing hundreds of pages of material. My boss gives too few f*cks to keep track of what I do day to day, but more than enough f*cks to be super particular about certain formal aspects of what we do - and she doesn't tell me about those particularities when I start something, even if I ask. So of course today she actually needs to use my stuff and looked at it for the first time in 8 months. And of course she decided that practically everything is wrong and the whole system I set up just isn't gonna work for her, even though it's perfectly logical and can totally work and the content is good. It's not even a mistake or incorrect, it's just *not right* and it could have been avoided if she just would've spent 2 minutes of her time 8 months ago to either explain how she wanted this done or at least to check up on how that project was moving along, like I asked her please to do. Anyway this is going to take the the rest of my time here to straighten out and I am so done.
/rant.
Am I bitter that I need to actually do something? Probably.

So I designed and built the company website for our employees. One of the pages contains the employee manual which is a 80-something page document. I'm highly tempted to hyperlinking one of the periods in the middle of it to some sort of porn website, or maybe TLS. I think years would go by before anyone notices.

Also, storpappa, don't be a hikkomorist. If you want to see Gray in her jammies (I doubt she's working from home nekkid, but what do I know about Canadians really), gotta PW yourself first.

Change it from s document to 80 separate pagesChris Manifesto wrote:So I designed and built the company website for our employees. On each page insert an ad code to your own Google Adwords account. Then as people read the manual you can get a few pennies in residuals

Re: Senioritis / Quitting-my-job-soon-iorits
I posted PW during the discussion about tuxedoes. It was a pic of me in a tux
Then again during the discussion about Las Vegss, a pic of me in full BORG
Short of my posting baby pics or a pic of me holding a Dewey Wins newspaper, I am up to par in my PW'ing
As for Gray being nekkid or in red flannel pj's as is the custom in Canada, I was hoping for a shot of a moose outside her window walking across the tundra as is the norm in Canada. Sheesh pervs

Gonna try and steer this thread back to a happier place:
Spent my morning TLSing, facebooking, reading up on adult soccer leagues in Durham, and scrolling through amazon's recommendations for me. I'm running out of ways to waste time already. May need to head to the break room for my second coffee break of the day. Perhaps I'll stumble into an interesting conversation happening there (ha)
