when you say single, do you mean a non-roommate situation (studio or one-bedroom)?

I said single to differentiate myself from those who applied for couples housing, and I got a studio, assuming tecumseh meant the same

Same situation for me. By looking at last year's thread, seems like we should get our assignments within the next day or so
soooo now i'm going to be hitting refresh on my gmail like it's october and i'm waiting for my LSAT score.

Same here. It was approved in the last couple of hours because I had checked on it earlier today. Hoping for some good news soon!

Is anyone planning on having a pet in university housing? The website is quite clear that they are not allowed, and someone in housing reiterated that to me over the phone. She said it's non-negotiable. I'm reading stuff from past threads where people were saying it's openly tolerated, and that people in housing even told them it was fine...the response I got from them the other day is making me nervous, though.

I'm not planning on having a pet, but I imagine its all relative -- like cats n fish in the apt no one will notice, but if you are taking a mastiff out for a poop daily you may have some issues.

The old threads, as far as I remember, suggest it's different for law-only housing and UAH housing, with the latter being more open to pets.

i put a UAH studio at the top of my list (single, not couple's) since it was cheaper, but indicated i was open to law school housing as well as sharing should some of the other criteria i emailed juliana about not work. you?

UAH apartment share. I emailed Juliana some preferences but I never got an email back.

Hi all,

Sorry for yet another housing question. Unfortunately, there seems to next to nothing in terms of quality information on housing at Columbia. A few photo's and floorplans wouldn't hurt especially for those of us coming from overseas!

Anyway, I was assigned a couple, 1 bedroom apartment at 400 west 119th street (Butler Hall). Does any have any comments on this building?
