Anyone know how to go about appealing a scholarship decision? I did some internet searching but couldn't find anything as specific as, say, Chicago's (reproduced here):
We understand that financial considerations are often a significant factor for an admitted student in deciding which law school to attend. While we do not have a matching scholarship program, we are committed to mitigating financial concerns for those who are truly interested in studying law at UChicago and are happy to learn more about your circumstances. You may request a review of your financial aid package by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
. We will send you a link to an electronic form where you can provide additional information about your situation, including other scholarship offers that you are seriously considering. We will review these requests the week of April 20-24. Please note that we simply do not have the ability to adjust all scholarship awards, but we are still very interested in discussing your situation and alleviating your concerns.
Is it possible NYU wants us to do the same thing? I've heard from previous applicants that there's a form to fill out to apply, but since I haven't heard anything from NYU about that, maybe we have to email to get it like with Chicago?
