Shit. I'm glad you said something. I was blissfully waiting for May 1 to even accept my award. What an idiot.w0w wrote:but there was also a financial aid deadline today.

Yeah- I just called and looked at my letter today. For my award at least I did have to deposit today. So I just did that! Pretty excited to be in NYC this fall.

Same. Thanks for the heads up. It would've sucked to deposit closer to May 1st (which I was planning on doing) to find out I'd lost my scholarship (which I thought I was fine on because I "accepted" it by the 4/20 deadline)

Withdrew, so freed up some money. Seems like a good time to ramp up negotiations....

This is like breaking up with my first long term girlfriend all over again. I always just KNEW I was going to end up at NYU. But even with my scholly I'll be depending on LRAP, and Columbia's LRAP is flat out better.
Goodbye, NYU. I really wanted this to work out, but the world got in the way.

I can't bring myself to actually turn down my award and make it official. I'm probably just going to leave the website open and it will take care of itself at midnight.

Hey everybody! If anybody's thinking of living off campus, message me. I live with another NYU law student and we're looking to fill our third bedroom. Our apartment's on the border of Clinton Hill and Bedstuy (mostly in Clinton Hill in terms of culture and feel). Lots of common space, in-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher. Rent's $1225 a month.
Congrats on getting into NYU, everybody!

I've had my NYU email for a week or two, but I only got the email letting me know I could register yesterday.

For those wanting to apply for housing but without instructions on how to obtain NetID and University ID in order to apply, please log in to the Admitted Students Website. Go to University IDs and Keeping Connected. Then click on Obtain your Net ID and University ID.
Idk why they didn't send out emails with instructions to everyone, but if you deposited a while back, your NetID and University ID should be available.

Thanks Jem. I'm not sure I might have missed it. It's just been weirdly silent for a while now

Having the same problem. I read somewhere that new students will be able to access more of Albert beginning in July... Not 100% sure on how correct this information isNoBladesNoBows wrote:Can someone explain how to get to the student center on Albert? I need to change my address but I've been going in circles through this damn site for like 30 minutes. So confusing!
