Re: NYU c/o 2018
called financial aid today, and they said appeals have a 7-10 day turnaround, and that they have already started to review some of them.
Though they weren't totally clear, I believe they said decisions would start rolling out on Monday.

Does NYU allow multiple appeals? I wanted to wait for Columbia's offers to come out before I decide on a strategy for them, but I am getting antsy and am thinking I should just send my offers over to NYU now...

Re: NYU c/o 2018
So I called the financial aid office and inquired as to whether my scholarship was need based or merit based. Surprisingly I was all merit. Guess they really do want that LSAT score. And I thought I and my parents were poor!

Re: NYU c/o 2018
I just went through some of the information they gave out to RTK interviewees yesterday and it looks like 40% of the 2014 scholars had clerkships and 60% of the 2013 scholars had one. Those numbers are insane.

Do you know if it was for a specialized/specific RTK Scholarship - or general? Thank you!

Really enjoyed ASD and the city in general. On a personal note, it actually made the HLS WL seem like no big deal at all

Is anyone waiting for Columbia to come out with $ before they appeal? Or is it just assumed that Columbia will probably give less?

Re: NYU c/o 2018
I've been held by CLS so it may not be as applicable but I submitted already thinking they'll probably give less (if anything).betty_bojangles wrote:Is anyone waiting for Columbia to come out with $ before they appeal? Or is it just assumed that Columbia will probably give less?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
