UNC Class of 2018
Hey! I'm not 100% quite yet, but UNC is a good option. Anyone else? I'm definitely looking for housing advice and recommendations.

Not sure that I'm all in for Carolina, but I do love Chapel Hill. If the price was right, it'd be a compelling option.

I'll be attending, hoping to live in Glen Lennox.

Make sure to tune in Wednesday night, so you get acclimated to losing to Duke early.

That sounds very enticing. How far away is it from campus?Avlyre wrote:UPDATE: If anyone is willing to live in a 4bd/4ba townhome on two bus lines, I'm looking for people to take 2 other bedrooms. If I can find enough for every bedroom, it'll be 405$ with utilities included. Anyone interested? It's at University Commons, and would be available to move in on June 1st.

1.5 miles, and I've actually found cheaper options on the same property. They're all condos, all 4bd/4ba, but as they are individually owned, some owners price them differently, and I've found a few that are going for 1200-1300 a month (300-325 a person + utilities sometimes). Search google for University Commons Chapel Hill for the floorplan. Right now, I'm looking for 3 law students who want to share an apartment, and if you are out of state, I'm willing to take pictures of these places when I get a tour, and send them, as I live in Raleigh.Ullr wrote:That sounds very enticing. Re: UNC Class of 2018
So, found a nice 2bd/1.5ba (shared shower, each gets their own mirror/sink/toilet, etc) for 710$ a month, split by bedroom, 355$. There is a utilities package ($220/m for water/sewer/trash/internet/cable/electricity) which would be split 3 ways (myself, my fiance, and you, or 4 ways if you bring a significant other). It's on the C and J bus lines, there's a bus stop right outside the complex, and it's 1.5miles from UNC. We've put a hold deposit down on it, so if anyone wants the other bedroom, it would only be a 25$ app fee per person. They do allow pets, but you would be responsible for the pet deposit/fee. The property is Carolina Apartments (http://www.gscapts.com/apartments/Carrb ... 0/gsc/4509), and the move-in date would be June 1st. Please PM me if you're interested, or if you want to know anything else!
