Plus I'm just lazy so Im fine with not moving from regents until I graduate.
I think most of the 1Ls in Shoreland are planning on staying for at least one more year. It is definitely more expensive than Regents, but to the best of my knowledge everyone is happy here and nobody has had any serious issues.

Absolutely. It's a fucking awesome building and I'm kind of jealous I don't live there.

Join us, Mal.
I think the 2L's in the building (all 3 of us) are also sticking around.

Haha, there are more 2L cats than there are 2L's. There's an equal number of 2L's + Spouses and cats.

Feel like through process of elimination if nothing else I am close to committing to Chicago, or just as likely taking a year off...

Yeah I've taken a couple years off and I'm glad I did because I got to explore alternatives to law school, and had an experience that convinced me law is the right option for me. Absolutely worth it if you can do something meaningful with your time.

Where are you all staying for the ASW?
I found out kind of late that I can go, but now the Hyatt is sold out for that weekend (What is the cost per night anyway with this "special rate" deal from UCHI?)
Hilton is like $163/night

Wish I could make it to ASW, but my mother would actually kill me if I miss a family thing I have next week. Have fun guys! Tell me if anything cool happens.

AirBnB! Would've done the current student option but my SO is coming with.

FYI for future admits, you can often stay in a second bedroom of a married student if you're coming to ASW with an SO and want more privacy. Just tell the admissions people and they'll work to pair you accordingly.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
