Last year I wore a blazer with jeans and a button front and felt so overdressed that I lost the blazer almost immediately. For guys your maximum formality at ASW should be jeans and a button front. T-shirt and shorts was not at all uncommon.

Also, ASW is just an extended party and should be a zero pressure weekend academically. No need to do the reading if you don't want to. Even if you're there to evaluate the campus, classes, students etc., there's no need to feel pressured at all.
Thanks, Pneumonia! If you remember, were jeans the go to for females as well?

All of the FinAid, housing, etc info sessions from ASW will be available in PowerPoint just btw.

Yeah I think nice jeans, or tights with a dress/shirt were standard for girls, don't really remember though.

If anyone wants to recognize me at ASW, I will be the one wearing slacks, because part of my IDGAF pre-law phase has been getting too fat to wear any of my jeans.

Wish I wasn't unavailable literally just on the two ASWs of all the weekends this spring. Thinking of doing one of the individual visit things - does anyone have experience with these that they'd like to share? Is it basically a small tour/presentation to the small group of people who set up that Friday/Monday? or something else?

I'm pretty much just bored in my last semester and I have family in Cambridge so it could be a cheap/fun weekend away if the individual visit are any good.

Were we supposed to schedule in advance to sit in on classes Monday?

Idk if yall get a list of options or what, but Whiting's Crim Class on Monday would be a good bet to sit in on.

Would depend on the date. I'm in Boston as it is so I'm always OK with a game at Fenway. FYI, dunno if this works for out-of-towners, but if you have a valid university email you can snag SRO tickets at Fenway for dirt cheap. Standing behind home plate isn't all that bad if you have a few beers with friends.

Sounds perfect, I'm thinking Friday April 17th so we don't miss any of the ASW evening events (read: dranks).

Sounds good to me. BTW, anyone know TCR on SOs at ASW stuff?

(lol at the number of acronyms and abbreviations in that sentence)

SOs are definitely welcome at HLS ASW. They have a schedule specifically for SOs. Feel free to PM me for more info!
