The dream is living in DC and public interest, so high cost of living low salary. That being said, has anyone made up their mind on going to GULC, even if they have to pay full COA? Can you give some insight into why you made that decision? I don't plan on it but I'd like some input from someone who is
I am not in this camp - GI Bill is funding most of my COA. However, as someone who is naturally curious and thinks 50k+ a year is ridiculous - I researched how someone could realistically pay sticker and still pursue their passion. If you are truly committed to public service check out LRAP - you can't beat having your loans paid for and forgiven after 10 years: http://www.law.georgetown.edu/admission ... -aid/lrap/
Also, you might want to look at GULCs "need-based grant assistance" (separate from merit based scholarships - i.e. you don't need a high LSAT or GPA to be considered) - you just need to be broke relative to other incoming students -- http://www.law.georgetown.edu/admission ... stance.cfm
Hope this helps and congrats on your acceptance!
