ugh TY for posting! Did you have to do anything to get an initial offer, or were you just patient?
Just be patient.
I think this is the best advice for all scholarships: Wait as long as you can, things will start to look clearer financially to schools once it's closer to deposit deadlines.
That's good to hear, I was getting worried b/c I didn't get the email, so there's still hope. . .

No scholly email either...169/3.7x and admitted early Nov, so definitely disappointed. Hopefully they either send out a second round or still offer $$ to those who didn't get one?

In last year's thread, it looks like a few people who didn't get the email contacted GULC and were successful in getting 'scholarship consideration' (whatever that means). I don't want to do it if it's pointless and annoying, but I'm also concerned that waiting might mean letting the pool of available funds dry up before I'd be getting any serious consideration.
This is just my opinion and based on nothing but my own thought process - for whatever that's worth - but I would just send an email saying something like this:
"I have narrowed down my choices to a couple different law schools and am leaning towards GULC. Before I commit, I was curious if I would be contacted about scholarship consideration or if I should solicit myself. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration."
I would imagine they are trying to get a picture of where they are numbers-wise at this point; why wouldn't they try to lock in someone that they know is going to be above their median LSAT?

Maybe check with Spivey/KB? They said schools hate the people who try negotiating this early, but I'm not sure if this counts as negotiating since they haven't even made you an offer.
Maybe if you frame it in a more general "I am concerned about financing law school given xyz facts about my financial situation. Does GULC offer any resources to help students in my situation?" kind of way?

Got the email. 3.4 169 (maybe urm, I'm international)
From my mylsn, gulc seams stingy with $$$.
I kinda like how they ask people how much they would need. I'd need a big scholly to be able to even afford to attend a US school as a canadian. So I'd prefer to either get the $$$ or $0 and not lock up money from other admits

Got the email. above both 75's.
I am in the similar position where I basically am going to tell them its $$$$ or bust for me at GULC.
For those feeling they deserved a scholarship email and didn't get one, they are probably doing waves and reassessing their scholarship reservoir between waves. Looks like this round may be to find people who are really certain of going to GULC or prohibitively demanding with their requests. So don't despair (Gray) if you haven't heard!

For those haven't gotten the email yet: I went to visit GULC today and the admissions office said that their scholarship committee just convened this week and they'll be sending out emails in the next 2-3 weeks

Also got the scholarship email on 2/4. I basically just told them about some of my other full-ride offers and let them figure out how much to offer from there; I hope I was reasonably clear without sounding brazenly entitled that I won't attend without $$$.

They get someone prominent every year to speak to 1Ls.
We had Justice Stevens this year.

Yea, this. Scholarships are definitely available to those who didn't get the email, as I also did not originally get one. You may need to be prepared to play hardball with them; I didn't get anything until a few days before the deposit deadline.
My process went: No email; solicited them for money late march/early april; got the generic scholarship email looking for what it would take for me to attend; about a week before the deposit deadline, got initially denied and told money may free up in the summer but that I should deposit with the understanding that I won't be getting any money; immediately told them I would be unable to deposit without any money and that I am declining their offer of admission; received an initial scholarship offer the next day; negotiated a higher scholarship.
