They say it takes 72 hours, so hopefully I will be able to buy food again by Wednesday.

Hey - I am assuming you're talking about Section 3 (Curriculum B)? My roommate was in that section. It does have a little more reading, and it seemed a lot more philosophical. Words like "normative" and other long words ending in "-ism" were used a lot. He liked it. You will generally find a lot more liberal minded folks in Section 3. I could be wrong but I think they revamped the curriculum for this upcoming year.

I was section 5, and really enjoyed the traditional approach. One consideration for me was that I didn't want to have to explain why my classes all had weird names to employers.

If anyone else is struggling with this, you don't actually request a refund through "Student Accts" where you set up the refund account. The refund request link is directly in MyAccess, Student Services > Student Account > Request Refund.

Register for access!

Did I mention it was FREE ?

Also fwiw I got an email saying that my request had been processed, but that the money could take up to 5 days to appear.

ETA haven't set foot on campus so maybe these things are obvious once you get there, but in case they're not:

Can anyone tell me where
(1) you pick up your GoCard, and
(2) you register your car, so you can park in the garage?
Thanks

It's been 3 years for me, but I think the answer to #1 is the Satellite Go-Card office. Go into the building where the subway is, hang a right like you're heading towards Gewirz, pass the entrance to the gym and the office is on the left. At least, that's where it was 3 years ago, though I don't think they've moved it.

Ha, ha! Senior citizens over the age of 26 can skip. I am waiting for my AARP card.

1E rocks by the way. I have classmates who are already working in BigLaw. E.g. patent agents.

Didn't think that the first day of classes would scare you all so much that my supply of random posts to read would dry up.

My first day of law school was very anticlimactic. Had one hour of LRW.

1Ls how are you holding up? I'm assuming everyone has taken full advantage of bar review?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
