Yes, they gave me a really good one and subsidized my hotel cost completely.

St. John's moved up 25 spots. If they can keep that momentum going they'll be in the top 10 by the time we graduate.NutellaDipity wrote:obviWinston1984 wrote:obviously we are all withdrawing, right?

Forgive me if this has been discussed previously-
Does anyone know if Michigan offers any sort of travel stipend for visits not during ASW? Or has anyone had success negotiating one?

IIRC, stipends are need-based. Michigan does subsidize hotel costs, though. When you register for ASW, you have the option of booking a hotel through them for $20/night.secadc11 wrote:Forgive me if this has been discussed previously-

Sorry, I think my question may read weirdly -- I'm not able to visit during ASW, and am wondering if anyone has had any help with financing an 'off-schedule' visit.jemthey17 wrote:IIRC, stipends are need-based. Re: Michigan Law c/o 2018
Hello from a 3L!
I am subletting my 1 bedroom apartment this summer. It's a 5-7 minute walk to the law school and to downtown bars/restaurants. It has A/C and comes with a parking spot. I rented to a summer starter last summer, and it worked out great! You can see photos here: http://annarbor.craigslist.org/sub/4926467509.html
If anyone wants to check it out over ASW, let me know. I can also answer questions in general. I'll be frank.

Do you mind sharing more info? And possibly stats? I'm just trying to adjust my expectations in anticipation of getting my scholarship info (hopefully soonish). I haven't seen much announced here except for the named scholarships.sheishkabob wrote:Just got the scholly email after being admitted on Saturday! Looks like the turn around is much quicker now
Totally cool if you don't feel comfortable sharing!
