In law school, first year grades matter most. Law Preview, together with leading law schools, law firms, companies and bar associations, have created an innovative partnership to improve the academic performance of law students during their 1L year. These sponsoring organizations generously fund full scholarships for incoming law students to attend a Law Preview summer session so they can learn from the nation’s leading law school professors and attorney lecturers what to expect and how to excel in law school. Some scholarship sponsors also make further investments by mentoring scholarship recipients throughout their 1L year and hiring them into their 1L Summer Associate programs.

If you plan to attend one of our 80+ partner law schools, and meet the scholarship criteria, complete the online application by the application deadline.
Starting off law school on the right foot with Law Preview has paid dividends for me. Law Preview has helped me achieve top grades throughout 1L, excel throughout my school’s on-campus interview program, and land a summer associate offer at one of the most prestigious law firms in NYC. Law school is incredibly competitive and every small advantage, especially small advantages early on, snowballs into larger advantages throughout 1L. Law Preview arms you from day one with both the technical skills and the mindset to play the law school game and to win.

About a month ago, I applied for a diversity scholarship to participate in this. Do you know when/if I will be contacted with updates regarding my applications status?

Thanks!

Hi 180kickflip - the application deadline for most schools is Sunday, May 15th (Baker Botts Law Preview Scholarship at Duke has been extended to 5/20). Once the applications have been received, most selection committees aim to have their review and notification process completed by June 1st. Sit tight -- you should be hearing something very soon. Good luck!

Just wondering for next year (and I'm not saying that I will be in this situation) - what if you are attending a LS already on a full scholarship? Are you then ineligible, or can you get a stipend to help defray COL costs?

Thanks

I'm curious to know how many students receive a Law Preview scholarship from a law firm for each school! Do law firms only select one or two, or can they select as many as they'd like?
