hello,

i just realized that there was an error in my application to one of my top choices. the dates i entered on the application were different from the dates on my resume for a certain activity.

should i send an email to apologize, or is that crazy?

thanks very much.

Does anyone else think there is a sentence in this introduction to Gonzaga's accelerated JD program that makes little sense and doesn't fit?

The last sentence about pursuing justice. Umm, ok? Good for you guys?

So random. I really want to re-write that and submit it.

Any idea on how the applicant pool for this year is looking? Thanks for all the work ITT!

Unless I am hit by lightening the second after seeing the data I swear an oath to this community I will stop whatever I am doing, no matter how awesome or important, and immediately blog it, tweet it, and announce it here. I promise this on all that is sacred to me.

It's been slow coming out :( but we will get it and I will share :-)

it is always okay to update an application. Indeed, most times the admissions decisions makers will have no idea you did. Regardless, update it yes!

Sorry if this has been asked before, but what actually happens if I want to submit a third LoR that came in late? I assume I have to send it through LSAC, but would this place my application at the beginning of the queue? Or would it still be reviewed in the same order as when I originally sent it in. Is it worth getting it in, or not worth the disruption? Thanks!

No, it won't reset you. You are in the queue based on when it went complete on your end, not on any LOR. You are read based on strength of numbers + complete date, so again you are fine. Update!

Av is in the works, Brother Spivey. Also, the unwashed masses of TLS want to know if you are interested in participating in the site's Secret Santa.

I just finished my first quarter and grades will be submitted today. Should I update the law schools I've applied to with an unofficial transcript and email them or should I have my undergraduate school submit it through the LSAC with an official copy?

I don't think the Secret Santa would go so well for me. Plus I already have a collage of Brian Leiter pictures.

Karen might be game...

"What, if some day or night a demon were to steal after you into your loneliest loneliness and say to you: 'This fragrance as you now smell it and have smelled it, you will have to smell once more and innumerable times more' ... Would you not throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse the demon who spoke thus? Or have you once experienced a tremendous moment when you would have answered him: 'You are a god and never have I heard anything more divine.'"

After Leiter was retired, people
showed his shadow for centuries afterwards in a
cave,—an immense frightful shadow. Leiter is retired:
but as the human race is constituted, there will
perhaps be caves for millenniums yet, in which
people will show his shadow.—And we—we have
still to overcome his shadow!

Eau de narcissist-Leiter is an island. This is his cologne.

As tempting as it sounds, I will pass. I already have a leopard print snuggie from an HLS Admissions Office Yankee Swap a few years back (I used to use in my frigid office while reading files - no joke!)
