That was brutal.

I literally just stared at the screen for a solid two minutes.

Just did simulated state-specific essays and PT. Mentally exhausted halfway through the last essay.

Also, my rule statement for adverse possession was "Adverse possession must be (i)open and notorious, (ii) hostile, (iii) continuous, (iv) another factor I can't remember that isn't relevant here, and (v) for the duration required by statute."

So... you know... everyone's going to do fine.

Let's say I answered a question like this on the actual exam. I got the conclusion right, applied the facts correctly, and so on, but I didn't remember the entire adverse possession rule statement (so I just omitted Factor 4 rather than saying I didn't know it, and factor 4 wasn't necessary to complete the problem).

If that question was graded on a 5 point scale, what do you think I would get on it? A 3? A 4? higher? just trying to get a sense of how strict the Bar Examiners are on stuff like that.

It depends on the grader, but my best guess is that you'd probably get a 4 or 5 if the only issue on the essay was missing an irrelevant portion of a rule statement.

Unless you're a Themis grader, in which case you get a fat raspberry and the screen flashes "LOSER! GO TO TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL!" Although, considering what truck drivers make, that might not be bad advice...

has anyone ran into real estate broker/agent problems on any property PQs? or problems regarding discrimination? I have not ran across any and I am wondering if its worthwhile trying to remember these rules at this point.

The equal dignities rule has come up at least once for me, and I think I got a saw a question about whether a broker could prepare a certain document.

Feeling pretty exhausted after the simulated MBE.
Here are the Stats

Overall 74% (AM 72%, PM 76%)
AM session (Time: 2 hours 56 minutes)
PM session (Time: 2 hours 48 minutes)
Times include double checking to make sure I filled in the correct answers on the bubble sheet.

Civ Pro: 19/27 (70.37%)
Con law: 27/29 (93.1%)
Contracts: 21/29 (72.41%)
Crim Law: 9/15 (60%)
Crim Pro: 10/13 (76.92%)
Evidence: 20/29 (68%)
Property: 22/29 (75.86%)
Torts: 20/29 (68.96%)
Total: 148/200 (74%)

I was more tired in the PM session, but I thought the questions were easier, so took me a bit less time.
Compared to my overall practice scores (70%) from the practice sets, the simulated MBE scores match up pretty well, except I usually do a lot better in crim law, and not as well in con law.

Where are you getting those section percentages. Did you calculate them yourself?

I did better than I expected. Aka I didn't feel great taking it but the result was fine. Also a little frustrating they don't combine the two tests to display results imo

I feel like if I get this score on test day, all I need to do is improve a bit on the MEE/MPT portions and I will be fine. Two caveats: (1) I wanted closer to 75% (oh well...boo hoo) and (2) I am getting destroyed on my MEEs right now.

Does anybody think that the critical pass flashcards would be useful for last three weeks? I am considering to order that but a bit hesitant.

That simulated exam was a total grind. Was so exhausted in the afternoon session but ended up doing better. Unfortunately only got about 45% overall so lots to work on. Seems I either get in the 60% for practice sets or in the 40s. Nothing in between.

wondering what our "goal score" is for this practice test...definitely found the PM harder than AM.

143/200.

68/100 and 75/100

PM session felt harder.

I think they would be. I’ve had them for a while now but haven’t looked much at them lately. I’ve thought the last few sets of PQs I’ve done have focused on lots of nuances and I’ve been focused on those, but the simulated exam was more on the black letter law, which I’d been neglecting. They’ll be a great way to drill the basics.

How many of the Mixed set PQs has everyone completed prior to the 200 q. test (#3)? I am on the 6th set and have had varying performance (some score 70+%, others 40%) and it's awfully annoying and frankly, I want to smash my computer. I don't want to go in with the test and score crappy and then feel defeated the next 2 weeks.

Yeah I’m a mess on the non-MBE subjects for the MEE. I’m planning to really drill those in the next few day. More of a buffer would have been nice but it feels doable.

Before I entered scores it said we should be scoring between 110-120 at this point in the course

I did 5 and similar to you my scores have been so up and down. This week I’ve been in a down, including for the simulated exam today. It sucks, but I’ve got three weeks to put it together so have to remain positive.
