A co-worker just called NYS BOLE @8:51 AM. She was told no date expected yet but it will likely be closer to the end of October maybe even Nov 1 or 2.
I hope the person she spoke with is wrong

Hm. 600+ fewer applicants than J’16 and a potentially later release date? Yeah, that makes sense.

I would take what they say with a grain of salt. In the Jersey thread, the people that called were told similar dates. So I think they just say whatever they want to get people to stop calling.

I think many of us should keep calling them! This will make them give us a concrete date or release results sooner because the results are ready!!

I always thought that "nobody knows" may be applicable to a weather forecast or a health prognosis, but not to publication of official data... But what do I know

I highly recommend that you do not look at the Question and Analysis for the MEE. I did and now I am sick to my stomach.

You can buy the MPT point sheets for july 2018 but I'm not sure how much that'll help you without access to your own exam.

The median MBE score is around 139-140. For first time ABA grads it is 148. With a 148 MBE you can get a 118 in the MPT/MEE and still pass.
According to the NCBE (link below) a 120 scaled (remember that the MBE is scaled to the MEE/MPT) would have placed you in the BOTTOM 10.6% last July.
In NY, over 40% of July examinees are either retakers or foreign educated!
Do you think you actually placed in the bottom 10%?
Everything will work out for you (unless you really bombed the MBE. This assumes you score in the median of first time ABA takers)

I may purchase the J18 Q&As (escaped from day 1 with tears in my eyes, thinking I was in over my head), and to check out the MPTs --one person on a different thread was explaining how he has written multiple Brady motions and he received a 2 (out of 5) and a 3 on MPT2 and he hadn't a clue what he was doing--so, I think I need to just know what these sample answers look like--

I'm m thinking the same thing of purchasing the J18 Q&A. At least then I would have an idea of whether i passed the MEE & MPT. Then wait for the MBE score...

Yes. That's the Board's official email with which it sends (and sometimes receives) emails.
