NY employment affidavit for summer associate position
I may be looking a bit ahead here but I have a quick employment affidavit question: for previous summer associate positions, can we list our "position" on the affidavit as "summer associate"? The character and fitness checklist email we got a couple of weeks ago said we couldn't describe ourselves as "associates" because that term is only used for people who have been admitted to the bar. So based just on that information, I was unsure if "summer associate" was acceptable because everyone knows that summer associates aren't admitted to the bar, or if we should use a different term for bar application purposes because use of the word "associate" is forbidden in all contexts. I may be reading too much into it, but based just on the language in the email I think it is sort of ambiguous.
