Departing From Barbri PSP for Last Few Weeks?

I've been following the Barbri PSP and am on track progress wise with their suggested progress, but I want to really focus on memorizing and crushing MBE. I'm done with all the "Lectures" and will not have to learn anything new from this point on for the first time.
I'm confident that I will be able to remember enough to do at least average on the essays, but based on passing score (266) for my state, it seems that if you do well on MBE (68th percentile-ish), you can bomb essays and easily pass. Did the simulated MBE and got 119 raw, missing a lot of easy questions that I either overthought or couldn't remember exact rule for. Feels awkward/weird for me to just disregard Barbri PSP and watch the progress bar drop behind, but rereading these giant outlines makes no sense to me because I'm not recalling that info the next day after reading 80 page outline.
Anyone else been in my spot that just decided to do their own thing? Any suggestions appreciated! Also, been using Critical Pass a little bit but plan on using them in next few weeks to drill for MBE.
