Hey all, passed the bar exam and literally two days later my references received requests from NCBE.
I was wondering if they will also reach out to my former employers since we had to list contacts at those. I just wanted to know if I should give them a heads up - haven't spoken to some in years. For those that had NCBE process their character and fitness, any ideas?

So they don't contact anyone until you pass the bar exam? Or do they contact after writing the bar exam? Is the contact via email OR postal mail? Thanks.

They started contacting my references back in March so I think they just start contacting on a rolling basis after the exam is over. All my references were contacted via email.guyindfw wrote:So they don't contact anyone until you pass the bar exam? Or do they contact after writing the bar exam?
