My usual prescription, but split. 10mg am 10mg pm.
Couldn't sleep very well Tuesday night though.

I am a practicing therapist that went to law school. I'm curious--do you feel adderall helps you for standardized tests? Some of my clients swear by it and some think it makes them increasingly anxious and scattered!

None....wouldn't recommend taking this without a prescription from a doctor.

Im anti-medicine anything unless absolutely necessary but taking adderall for exams sound like borderline unethical??

What? No! U don't take it unless prescribed... but I suspect if u were to take Adderall for the bar, Im guessing it would probably be best to take while studying to help concentration and focus... Taking it during the exam would probably work against u by making u spend too much time on any one question....

Zero. I wouldn't dream of taking drugs to get through a standardized test. Who does that?

10 mg as prescribed. Failed first time w/o it. Passed w/ flying colors w/ it.

For the purposes of making it through a full day of work and studying at night, I took a 20 XR (extended release) am and 20 regular pm. Closer to the exam I switched to 30 XR am and 20 regular pm but my doc also prescribed propranolol to reduce anxiety and regulate the heart. I think the propranolol helped the second time I sat for the bar because I didn't take it the first time. After the exam, I did ask to be taken of XR's completely because it messed with my mood and I am now back to a regular 20mg am and pm.Sonny1211 wrote:

But here's my gray area: suppose you have a prescription for 10mg twice a day - you obviously have access to a lot more than that at any given time. Suppose you up your dose on your own, to 30mg right before taking the exam - is that unethical?
