Adaptibar v red book

Postby umichman » Tue Jan 24, 2017 8:39 pm

I've been reading online and I can't decide if adaptibar or Kaplan purple book is better supplement to bar bri for doing men questions. Any thoughts? I hear adaptibar questions are too easy, but I like the online idea. Red book is cheaper I think. Thoughts?

I have adaptibar. I like it so far because of the online aspect. It keeps track of your percentage on subjects and sub-topics within a subject so you can focus on your weaker areas and create your own customized exams, but I too am worried that their questions might be too easy though because they are supposed to be from the 1990s exams. I tend to do significantly better on adaptibar questions than barbri, especially in my weaker subjects so idk how helpful adaptibar really is if it's not reflective of the difficulty we face on exam day.

Also what is the red book?

I'm currently using both Adaptibar and Kaplan. CNK1220 points out some of the better benefits of Adaptibar. Personally, using the red book I am just going through and not necessarily tracking how well I am doing in each individual subject. The nice thing about Adaptibar is that it does all of that for me so I know where to focus a few extra questions each day. I have found it to be very helpful.

Adaptibar also provides a free trial on their website so you can see if you like it. If you end up wanting to sign up with Adaptibar, PM me your email address and I can send you a code for $30 off.

It is the kaplan book that just has a shit ton of MBE questions in it i believe. I think it might be purple now. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I think the redbook is what it used to be called until Kaplan bought the co. that makes it.
