Bar Exam Tips for Success - NY Bar Exam Test Takers

Postby AdamSherms » Tue Jul 12, 2016 2:36 pm

Hi everyone. I run my own small specialized test prep tutoring company. This is what I distribute to our students. Thought it might be useful for you all.

5 Tips for Passing the Bar Exam

1. Study. Take all Barbri practice exams, review answers and know the explanations

2. Follow. Track what questions are tripping others up + tips from others at Above The Law

3. Inform. Stay informed from the Bar Association on where you are going, when and what you need to bring

4. Eat. Order lunch in advance from Custom Gourmet since the main cafeteria will be closed the day of the exam

5. Relax. Studies show that you’ve studied enough and you just need to relax and do your best

Good luck!

Thanks! Nice of you to post this without actually plugging your own prep company!

I use Themis rather than Barbri and have found them to be great so far too. A senior guy from Barbri for like 25 years left there and joined Themis, maybe they'll chip away at Barbri's monster market share in the space...
