My coworker took Themis, I took Kaplan. Just posting to say that my coworker passed all sections of the Florida exam. She said she felt very prepared for the Florida MCQs, and was prep testing around 67%-70% for MBEs.

Re: Themis Bar Review Hangout - July 2016
FL Bar Pass here.
Got results today and scored 151 on both parts (how strange!)
I can't remember my milestone scores (I think in the 120s/130s for the second one) and I literally never scored higher than 70% on any PQ set.
I also "completed" 90% of the program, but take that with a grain of salt because for the essays I mostly just clicked through and read the sample answers. All of my graded essays were 20-50% and that was using my notes.
Woohoo! So happy to never have to think about that again!
Good luck to those still waiting!

Re: Themis Bar Review Hangout - July 2016
Congrats to those of you who have posted "Pass"!!!
I'm in California. So, our big day is November 18th!
I studied 9 to 12 hours per day for 70 days in a row... with only one afternoon off. I was in Greece for 4 days and spent that one afternoon off visiting the Acropolis.
The first 35 days were spent in the Loyola Law School (LA) library and the library at Loyola Marymount University. I promised myself that as long as I established good study habits during the first half of the 70 day ordeal, that I would study abroad for the 2nd half. I spent most of the rest of the summer studying in Budapest, Hungary!
It was such a great experience to be away from everyone and everything. Pass or fail, I had the most incredible studying experience!
I am so glad that I used Themis and was able to take my study materials with me and study from a location of my own choosing.
Rock on Themis! (BTW, I inadvertently ran across the Temple of Themis in Athens!)
I completed 100% of the study materials. My scores on the practice material were passing. So, I'm hopeful.
Today is slow at work. So, I'm reading about other people's Bar experiences. I think it's good that I didn't know about this thread while I was studying though. I wanted (and got) complete seclusion while preparing for the Bar Exam. I felt like Themis provided me enough materials to feel well-prepared on game day!
Besides, I loved the programs interface. It felt comfortable and matched my learning style.

I'm getting neurotic checking these forums multiple times every day since NY results are coming in less than 30 days. Can't concentrate at work. Constantly on my phone. Just started two weeks ago so I'm a stellar employee already.

I agree with this! A few minor quibbles, but overall, having seen the sites and hardcopy materials for other prep companies, I felt like Themis was more user-friendly and laid things out in a more digestible fashion.MavEryck wrote: Besides, I loved the programs interface. Ha! Do you have any idea of the NY results date? Or is it just always sometime in October rather than November?ndp1234 wrote:I'm getting neurotic checking these forums multiple times every day since NY results are coming in less than 30 days. Re: Themis Bar Review Hangout - July 2016
Since 2013 July results have been in late October. Even the ones before then issued in November were issued within the first couple of days of November. So I'm basing my opinion on that. Also hoping grading will be quicker because there are no state specific essays. But other than that I have no individual basis for the assumption hat the results will be out in late October.

I was also thinking it should be quicker this year since it's UBE but instead of 50 MC they have extra essay and MPT to read and grade. So if we're lucky, it's going to be no later than last week of October.

Re: Themis Bar Review Hangout - July 2016
Also passed PA, I felt very well prepared for the essays by working through probably 80% of the ones Themis had, and MBE felt meh but either way I am so happy I went with Themis over Barbri. Cheaper and didn't engage in stupid scare tactics or too many useless lectures or extra assignments. I will never understand why people paid so much for a program that tries to make your last free summer miserable.

Thanks themis and everyone on here! It was a crazy summer but I passed CO (despite studying far less than I had initially hoped).
For any future bar takers skimming the thread, I definitely recommend themis. I liked their system. I did about 70%. If you do the work they recommend, you should be in good shape for the bar!
Good luck to anyone waiting for their results.

Also passed ma. Completed about 80% of the course.
On the practice themis exam I got 127 between the two sections. Was scoring ~70% on practice sets. Never did well on essays.
Scaled mbe score 155, essay 147
Edit: and of course thanks to everyone on this thread for being supportive during this rough summer!!
