Best states for C&F issues
Hi everyone, thanks in advance for your input. Given financial (debt) and past criminal history (no conviction) issues, what states have the most lenient C&F requirements? From my own research, I am aware that Oregon and Illinois have conditional admittance programs, and New Jersey is reputed to have a C&F that is rather more on the relaxed side as these things go. I am wondering if anyone has more information about these or other states.

I've read on here that Pennsylvania is supposedly more lenient, but couldn't say for sure. I wish people posted more info/personal stories about this, I am also interested in knowing. People don't want to talk about their C & F experiences, I guess.

Page 4 has a state by state chart for C&F determinations followed by Supplemental Remarks. I would only be concerned about felonies, not misdemeanors. I worked in a Texas law school admissions office; a lot of applicants had one or two misdemeanors (e.g MIP, PI, DWI, etc.) on their criminal record and it was not a problem for admission or a deal-breaker for taking the bar.
