I think I just don't care no more at this point. I just want to get the Exam over. How does everyone else feel?

Yup, i'm right there with you. To make matters worse, I haven't really done much in the last 2 days. I feel like i've forgotten it all in 48 hours...

Same here.. I still don't feel ready but also feel tired every time I try to do anything. Just haven't been productive but just trying to keep going as much as I can, reviewing stuff I don't know well. It's incredibly hard these last 2 days though.

Yes. Ugh.

My fear and insecurity keep me motivated. But at this point I also think I need to start taking it easy or I'll be burned out before I set foot in the exam room.

Agreed with everyone else. I'm going to try to grind out review the next two days. But I'm going to take Mon completely off to re-energize my brain.

Awful. I've been wrecked with anxiety and stress. I've had to stop coming to this thread because I kept freaking out when I saw how much everyone else was doing! I would see someone say "I was doing my 7th essay of the day and . . . " and I would just think, "Fuck, I've only done like 2 or 3. I'm a failure."

Kaplan wrote:If the firefighter asserts a claim against his neighbor, will he prevail?

A. Yes, for trespass.
B. Yes, for nuisance.
C. clearly wrong answer
D. wrong answer

Answer: "To be sure, the neighbor would be liable for trespass since his bees entered onto the firefighter's property. However, nuisance will provide the firefighter a better theory of recovery. . ."
Fuck you Kaplan. Fuck you.

Haha I hope so! It's always nice to have encouragement, but I think I'm going to be worried no matter what. I think that's part of the whole "passing the bar" experience.

All I know is that, success or failure, this shit will be over in a few days time. Hopefully indefinitely, but at the very least momentarily.

Keep in mind some of the people (myself included) doing crazy amounts of essays are those in states like California where the pass rates are abysmal. Lastly July was like 48% passing. We have 3 days (6 essays and 2 three hour PT's, plus MBE's). It makes us manic...haha

But, ya: Anxiety is a given. It's shit. Just breath and I will see you on the other side

Is anyone else going crazy with bar questions taking over their life? No matter what I'm doing, I'm constantly thinking, "Is that a tort? Would this be an oral contract? Who is liable here?"

I think it's driving my wife crazy. We just watched an episode of Archer and it just so happened to be one where Ceril is telling everyone the relevant 4th Amendment rights they have. I kept pressing pause to elaborate and clarify what he was saying. My wife pretended to be interested. I'm sure she wasn't. But godamnit if I'm not gonna elaborate on the proper bounds of a protective sweep when brought up in context outside of studying!

That's a good point. I appreciate the reassurance!

But you guys are doing more than I'm sure most everyone in your relevant states are. YOU ARE THE 48 PERCENT!

Yeah I went on a long rant explaining something about strict product liability to my husband and his eyes just glazed over. Sometimes he pretends to be interested (and even asks me questions) just to humor me though. :P

We're going to make the CBX our bitch. When it begs us to stop, we're going to turn it over and demand justice. We may not be able to own people per the 13th Amendment, but by god we will own the CBX.

What is everybody's strategy if they get an essay question that they're pretty much stumped on? I have seen a couple that I look at and think that I'm sure I'd be able to pick the right multiple choice, but I can't identify the rule to save my life. Would you just meander through a made-up rule? do you talk around it? Do you just say "fuck it. I'm sure it has the word 'reasonable' in it"?

I put off working on my essays until way too late and the few essays I got back from Kaplan were brutally graded even when I got the law right. I have a lot of concern about the area--particularly when I don't feel a lot of comfort with the substantive area (e.g., secured, commercial paper).

I will probably have to withdraw. My dog was diagnosed with a spinal problem last week. He has not been able to stand up since yesterday (3rd episode this year), and is not eating. I cannot let him suffer or risk paralysis because of an exam, as hard as I've worked. He deserves love and care.

I'm so sorry about your dog. That's really rough.

I wonder if there's maybe someone else who can help look after him this week? Your vet might be able to suggest someone with experience to give your dog the care he needs -- often the vet techs (or whatever you call the awesome "nurses" who assist the vets?) will do work on the side and are obviously very skilled at giving medical support as well as love to animals.

I'm sorry to hear this, but you've put in so much work already! Any way you can find (or pay, even) someone to take care of your dog while you're taking the exam? Even if you stop studying now, you've still put in a lot of work and can try your best. Hope your dog gets better :(
