Is the grade breakdown link in the letter? I see people posting about percentiles, I only see my MBE score and total score.

I only see Total Score and MBE score.

I don't see any breakdown by Essay Section, MPT or anything like that.

I also thought MBE was a nut punch. I took the LA bar back in 2011 and we don't have the MBE.

Barbr 126 raw; 143 scaled.
Real Thing: 148.4 scaled

I thought I did better than that...
I really don't understand this. How did I do that bad. Even if I didn't answer the prompt well or do the format or something completely proper I don't see how I literally got the lowest score of anyone in the state of Texas at the MPT.

Or does it not show MPT percentile?
It does show the MPT percentile. I failed last year and was in the 3-4% percentile on the MPT even though I *thought* I did a decent job on it. This time around, I submitted a few extra MPTs and got some valuable feedback from the Kaplan peeps. I used their approach and it worked for me.

If you passed, you will only see the total and MBE scores.

One of my good friends just passed with a 170 MBE and an 830 overall score. Is there any way to check percentile on the overall score?

That's insane. I got a 752 and I feel like I did entirely too much.

I studied a boat load myself but I had a different kind of pressure. I was getting barred in TX to take on new clients and a raise. My employer paid for everything so I did not want to write that email saying, "Sorry guys, those thousands of dollars of application fees, airfare and hotel were for nothing, can I still work here?"

I did leave a message for my Licensure analyst but no word yet. My name starts with an A. It wouldn't hurt to call yours!

I never felt more relieved about anything ever. To those who didn't pass, I know your pain. It will go away and you will pass if you really want it. Don't give up, don't ever give up.

How long do y'all think it will take to get the packet in the mail. I'm being impatient because my letter isn't in my Efast account.

Looks like I'll be putting my Barbri books up on eBay tonight. Anyone else have suggestions for places to sell these things?

I'll tell you one thing as a third time taker, and now passer, everyone must fail in life. It feels sweeter, it humbles you, and you have to take a good hard look in the mirror.

I have to say that Barbri was crap i took it the first two times and didnt do well. Themis was a godsend for me. MBE was never a problem for me, it was the damn PE Q's and being an out of state student. Then I learned that PE questions have to be free points, oyu have to know that crap cold. Essays you have to know cold. I only missed one subpart and that was the retainage %.

Glad to be another Conservative lawyer in the Great State of TEXAS! Keep it red!

Repeater here - passed with Themis. To those that failed, there is NOTHING more devastating after putting in so much work. It's practically an assault. For this freakin exam to be given only twice a year, and a whole career depends on this license while you already have the skills and the degree.

But it will make you look at the exam in a different way, like the matrix. Don't give up. I repeated more than two times.

The last 2 weeks of the exam I touched each area every day. 1 Criminal P&E, 1 Civil P&E, 50 - 100 MBE, and 3-4 Essay subjects. Repeat. Freakin repeat. If anyone wants advice, just hit me up. Good luck to all, and congrats to all.
